Shinrei Tantei Yakumo: Akai Hitomi wa Shitteiru

Kaminaga Manabu’s novel serves as the inspiration for the intriguing tale of Shinrei Tantei Yakumo (Psychic Detective Yakumo). At its core, the story follows Saitou Yakumo, a special college student whose anomalous biology gifted him with one red eye that enables him to perceive ghosts and apparitions. Yakumo holds the conviction that these spectral entities tether themselves to the mortal realm because of unresolved issues, and that by addressing these, they can finally pass on in peace. When Ozawa Haruka solicits Yakumo’s aid, they team up to investigate the mysterious and supernatural occurrences that entangle their world.
